Christmas List

Wow, I didn't realize it until now but it's a week from Christmas! However, significantly more exciting (in my opinion) is the fact that the fall semester is finally OVER! Now I can have time to catch up on other tasks.

Anyways, to make up for the lack of posts here recently, I've decided to assemble a list of material things under $100 that I wouldn't mind receiving for Christmas. It's only a list of five since there's nothing that I really want...sort of.

Integrity by Dr. Cloud
$16.49
Netflix Player by Roku
$99.95
Bodum Pavina 2-ounce Double-walled thermo glasses, set of two
Little Big Planet for the PS3
$59.99
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution for the PS3
$39.99

For those who are really in the mood of giving, here's the rest of my Amazon Wish List.

Philosophical thought for the day

Lately I've been dealing with some struggles and haven't been able to wrap myself around them enough to know what to do. So with every occurance similar to this, I try to break my mental state down to the most possibly simplistic way of perception. And with that said, in the midst of a cold apartment in the middle of the night, I have concluded with this outlook:

With strong developed roots, one must choose how to grow once removed from the pot. The only essential things for survival are faith and the ability to remain focused on not losing oneself. Always maintain that connection, because it is from within where these roots originate.

Detour

I haven’t really had much time to delve back into photography recently. So since I just happen to have my DSLR with me, I decided to take a little detour on the way back into Auburn to some grounds I haven’t been on in quite some time. Although the weather was still quite drizzly from the rain that morning, the colors of the leaves and nature herself gave me something to work with :)
